“Designing and Prototyping Your Next App with Adobe”
Experience matters. People decide within seconds whether your app or website is useful and engaging. Crafting a great user experience requires more than just visual design. Adobe XD is an app for doing it all—wireframing, visual design, prototyping, previewing and sharing. In this session, we’ll show you how to design and prototype a great user experience using Adobe XD, with tips and tricks to immediately be more productive.

Room 132B — Business of Design
Jane Goat
“Running a Creative Business”
Want to freelance full time? In this session, we’ll discuss specifics how-to’s on how to get your business up and running in a way that protects you legally and maximizes your profit. We’ll also discuss how to get jobs, the art of negotiation, the importance of insurance for your trade, and using social media to document and promote your work.

“Culture Shifting II: Metamorphosis”
The power of creative advocacy is the intentional effort to create a united voice; knowing design can be the fundamental catalyst for impact. As designers, we help craft ideas and explore the age-old question of “How do we create change?” This presentation will include a panel discussion between cultural designers/artists and storytellers who are influencing perspective, creating community and voicing the unheard stories of Arizona.

Room 131B — Creative Collaboration
Vincent Gonzalez
“Creative Projects, or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Wall”
As artists, we cherish or creativity. We seek ways to grow, to stay “productive,” and to find meaning. Sometimes, we reach a fork in the road or hit a wall. When that happens, a timed creative challenge can unlock something we didn’t know was there.

Room 131A — In-House Design
Jessica Foncannon
