Cody Evol

Cody Evol

A Phoenix native, Cody’s passion for design and the web started when he built his first website in sixth grade. It was called Cody’s World and he had posted pictures of his dog and things in his bedroom. All of this was built using MS Paint and AOL’s website hosting.

After high school he started his career taking internet support calls at America West Airlines (which became US Airways), simultaneously earning his BSD in Visual Communication Design from Arizona State University in 2010.

He worked his way up to a Senior UX Designer building things like kiosk systems and flight displays, booking engines, Web Check-in and other UX-facing products. After 8 years he moved to PayPal’s Scottsdale office, and eventually to the office in Silicon Valley, where he became a Design Manager and launched a new version of checkout for PayPal.

Cody went on to spend some time at StubHub and most recently Facebook where he brought his passion for design to connecting the world through Facebook search products — 1.7 billion users and counting. Currently Cody is consulting through Evol Creative and designing experiences with clients from around the Bay Area.

When he’s not updating Sketch files, he’s traveling the world with his husband or walking Magia, their Chihuahua around San Francisco, where they live.
